  • Ceiling Height Matters

Got high ceiling? Then you gonna need more suction power. Low ceiling? Maybe standard airflow okay, but be careful not to block view with wrong size unit.

  • What Cooking You Doing?

You fryin’ heavy stuff like woks or grillin’ meat? You better go with hood that got strong extraction, UV-C maybe too.

If it just oven or boiling pasta, you no need the strongest one.

  • Open Kitchen or BOH?

If your ceiling hood is for front-of-house (open kitchen), then looks matter! Go sleek, go silent, add some lights.

For back kitchen, go for heavy-duty type, less about beauty, more about doing job.

  • Air Supply Systems

Don’t forget makeup air. Ceiling hoods usually need extra fresh air balance or things get smoky and hot real fast.
